Unfortuantely the truth of the matter is that many teachers will content themselves with teaching you song after song which doesn't arm you with the materials you need to actually get good yourself in the real world of guitar playing. Guitar UNCAGED does.
Think of us as like doing a complete music college, but without the hassle and expense those courses entail. Or even think of us as being the perfect preperation before taking yourself off to music college for some real world playing. Or maybe you are coming back to guitar from a break, or even just starting to get serious about your playing, or about to start teaching...whatever!!
The Guitar UnCAGED course is split into four terms, each one building on the work of the last. It is important to do these in order as they are building blocks building toward a very thorough and complete understanding of the guitar. We assume you have some knowledge of the basics and can play the odd tune or two.
Each of our four classes is taught by a specialist instructor with years of experience of both teaching and gigging all over the world. Find out more about us at the tutors page.
The live room gives us the oppertunity to host the odd masterclass from some of the nation's top guitar players, as well as being the area we will post the best entrants to our 'Guitar Off' competition, where every month we will give you a track to download, and it is your job to turn it into an instrumental masterpiece with the skills you are learning at the college.
