TERM 2 LESSONS

Welcome to term two. So by now you should understand the CAGED system for chords, you should be able to pretty much roll out any barre chord you need and you should know where your root notes in chords are. Also you should be able to read rhythms and a few notes and just generaly be getting a better grip with the instrument.

Term two is all about building on term 1's work. So lets learn the five positions of the major scale, have a look at harmonising, some harder reading and of course lets start to get those chops up together..

isa

Hello! Isa here I'll be taking care of your notation lessons again for this term. We'll be having another look at reading rhythms, except this time with chords, we'll do the usual bits of sight reading, then get to grips with the concept of playing in a key and key signatures.
