It is to say that this term we will be working almost exclusively through the pentatonic scale and trying to get you to master this legend of a scale...

We're really building on the earlier term's work here so make sure you know your stuff and this will be a great fun term putting the early graft into practise!

Hello! Isa here I'll be taking care of your NOTATION lessons again for this term. Some cool stuff coming your way, lets look at some eartraining exercises, this is the stuff that helps you work out your own songs and gets you thinking about intervals, also lets look at some chord charts to get you reading them and finally a little light sight reading outside of the key of C....!!

Hi y'all, here at the Application class we're going to be looking at the most important scale in guitar playing, you need to know about the major scale first, but this is the one you'll use the most. This is the big one guys, the pentatonic scale... Work hard.

TECHNIQUES... Alright guys this term is about getting those pentatonic licks happening and about getting you improvising with this finest of scales, we'll look at all sorts of ways of getting the pentatonic into your head!!

Alright guys this term's a little less heavy in THEORY world!! We are going to be looking at harmonising the major scale to 7ths, and then building from that we're going to look at how to create some of those cool sounding extended 7th chords, Eminor∆7 anyone?! Last up we'll look at how to add some real interest in your songs using modulation
